Man this Hook is fire!! Love the nested folders. Will make everything cleaner having separate folders for arenas, shoes, uniforms, cyberfaces. Awesome. The free camera and head raising while shooting scripts work perfectly. Can't wait for 2K Tools!!! Thanks again Looyh!!!

Still crash for me
tried the old Hook version and the latest one.
it's crash randomly after the startup.

it was MSI Afterburner probably background conflict.

Looyh can you add the option to remove the popup that comes up when you use the updated exe if you want to play online. I know the hook doesn't work on the updated exe but the pop up comes up every time.

I've added the checkbox "Dont show me again", it'll be released in the next update, but you can also download it here to have it in advance:

I moved all of the correct files into the correct place, and I even downloaded the 1.2 exe file and put that in there aswell, but everytime I try loading the game it still says NBA2K_Hook doesn't support the game exe version you are currently using, so NBA2K_Hook will not initialize. Where did you download the 1.2 exe file?
Where did you download the NBA2K_Hook as well?
Make sure both of that are at their latest versions.
Make sure both of that are in their correct folders.

Looyh, is there a simple way to get the 2k23 scoreboards working with the right fonts in 2k24?

You have to find and replace all the values of VC_Font items because the font names have been changed in 2k24.
For example:
2K23 "franklin_medium" -> 2K24 "GLOBAL_BLACK",
"barlow_bold_condensed" -> "GLOBAL_BOLD"
"action_nba_medium" -> "DISPLAY_BOLD"

To find all font names, you can refer to VCUITEXT_FONTTABLE.VCUITEXT_FONTTABLE in english.iff. Open this file in a hex editor using the ANSI or Ascii encoding.

looyh, Everything has been fine since the release of your plugin. But after the auto update of the game (big update, almost 4gb / season 3, dated 02 December 2023), the plugin cannot be launched.

The problem is that Steam no longer launches 1.2 exe- there is an activation error (the game is officially purchased). When I put back version 3 exe, the game starts fine, but the plugin no longer works as we know at this version.

It is not possible to “roll back” to the previous version of the game, i dont find this option at steam. By the way, the update is really huge: Jersey City and Statement appeared for all teams, some new courts, faces, rosters and player ratings. In addition, bots (cpu) began to play more interestingly in all difficulty modes and some animations in game were added. Shouldn't we expect the plugin to be adapted for version 3 exe?

Reinstall the game fresh on Steam. I'd save both exe's in the future per the instructions.

Any updates on the debug menu? Game is nearly unplayable without it.
