Finding player ID's - WNBA Face ID's

HI,

I have watched youtube videos.
Used NBA2k24 tools and NBA 2k file explorer.
Even purchased 2k24, even though i am a retro gamer.

Is Red MC still used and a option for 2K24?

I can't find any of the WNBA ladies in the NBA 2k24 game.

I know some of them have exclusive and well-done faces in game, so they have to have a cyberface, but no mention of any of the players or the player ID in the roster. What gives?
How do you find these faces?


What i am trying to do is find, then extract the cyberfaces, and then attempt to pull the face textures afterwards, to convert to older games for a roster i am working on.

But first i have to be able find the faces,
I can't even find a single WNBA player to attempt to do this.


Where are these faces located? Does anyone know.

If you could provide some face ID's that would be helpful as well, but i would really like to know how to find these myself.

Use NBA2K24 Tools to find IDs etc than use the file explorer to export them. Both are in the topic pinned at the top of this very forum.

Hey, thank you very much for the reply.

This is exactly what i am looking for, i used both those tools and followed the directions in the youtube video.

I never seen this, when i went to the teams tab it only had the NBA teams, and when i searched a couple of players, none of them appeared, maybe i was looking in the wrong roster or wrong place?

Obviously, because that screenshot proves i did something wrong.

NBA2k24 tools didn't ask me to choose a roster location, it just said RUNNING and the roster was there.


I didn't read the topic at the top of the forum though, i will do that and give it another go.

I purchased a cheap $9.95 version off Amazon for steam, could that be it? Or do all versions of the game include the WNBA teams.



Update:
Once you provided me with that screen and the proper player ID. I was able to find Kelsey Plum's face easily in NB2k file explorer and export the files. So, i now know the WNBA players are in my game.

This still leaves me with the same problem i had, in NBA2k24 Tools, none of the WNBA teams or players are showing up.

The computer i use to mod everything, not play newer games, runs Windows 7, not sure that is the issue, just throwing out there.

You need to go to settings>roster editor and load the wnba roster. The editor works in real-time so will only show the active roster.

You could have got it on steam for £7.99 and all versions are the same but the expensive ones give you some free xp coins and similar

Can the face texture from the .dds file be viewed from this game?
If so, what tool or program is used to do this?

I have tried the dds plug-in for photoshop CS6, no luck and several other programs. No luck!

I haven't been able to view or pull a single face texture for NBA 2k24 yet.

I have with the older games using Woody's texture viewer but haven't had any success with the newer versions of the game.


Has anybody been able to view the face textures in NBA 2k23 & NK24

Lots of people have, there are lots of faces that have been created.
Use the nvidia texture explorer to view and save them.

Cyberface files have png*.iff and face*.iff files. Inside these files is the 3D information and DDS files for the textures, faces, arms and legs. You need to use 7zip to extract the DDS files. These files can be viewed using Photoshop, GIMP, WTV, etc. TGSoGood has tutorials on cyberface editing and using 7zip. Tutes made for older versions mostly still apply. Other cyberface tutorials are on YouTube. I don't do any 3D editing myself. I highly doubt you can use 2k24 textures for older games because the 2D images and 3D editing need to be done together. Blender is used for CF editing.
