Is AI any better defensively this year (Next Gen)

Hi Folks! Offline 2K player here.

Can anyone give me an insight on how is the AI defensively this year?

I'm tired of 2K23 not reacting at all (no double teams, no help, etc), as well as not basing defensive matches on skill/height, but rather position (Van Vleed on Luka just because both play as PG for instance lol).

I always twitch the sliders to eliminate the usual 2K cheese but retarded CPU is something we cannot fix unfortunately.

Nah man I saw a gameplay and the Cavs were matching Garland with Luka... My goodness is it that difficult to add a line of code to fix that? It's extremely frustrating
