The replacement of the Auction House with the Player Market is huge. It's potentially beneficial, but the early impressions are suggesting that the value isn't as good as advertised, especially when it comes to selling cards back. It may have solved the problem with the broken economy in the Auction House and third party MT sellers, but there could be a new dilemma in its place. It's not altogether surprising if so; it's not as though changes like this are done out of pure altruism, after all.
I'm interested to see if the payouts are truly an improvement. They may be bigger, but if everything is more expensive, then it's a moot point. The situation with buying MT is murky as well.
I liked the idea of Agendas in previous games, but a lot of it felt like busywork, or forced you into modes that you didn't want to play. The new approach to earning XP sounds better. It remains to be seen if the Seasonal rewards are truly worth it, and I'm still not a fan of the Season Passes, but at least there's still the free tier of rewards. Quality-of-life improvements such as simplified menus and being able to save lineups for Clutch Time and Triple Threat are most welcome. I also like the idea of picking a team's Starter Kit so that you can get your preferred branding right out of the gate. A small touch, but I like it.
There are some things that sound good here and I'm interested in spending some time in MyTEAM this year. I'm not interested in spending any money though, so it'll be interesting to see how viable No Money Spent is as far as enjoying the experience. It is a money-making mode at the end of the day, so as Dee said in our latest podcast, anything that sounds too good to be true probably is, so I'm cautiously optimistic as I get ready to dive into it.

Fun fact, NBA Live actually implemented this feature in LUT a while back. I remember playing an online game in LUT 16 where JVG had a special line when Hakeem Olajuwon and Dikembe Mutombo were the starting bigs together, referencing how they're the #1 and 2 leading career shot blockers.
That's awesome! If it was NBA Live 18, I'll have to give that a try, since I have both of them on my team.
