2004 and 2007 AllStar Jersey

Postby Dolomike21 on Thu Jun 22, 2023 3:51 am

Hi Community

Could anyone share if the 2004 or 2007 Allstar Jerseys have been made available? I'd appreciate any assistance in locating them or any guidance on where to start looking.

I attempted to recreate them and..... didn't turn out so well lol

Thanks!!!

What didn't work, show us what you have and maybe someone will help finish them or tell you what is needed?

There are these here, but I'm newer to the game and don't know how to extract\convert
2007 NBA All-Star Game Jerseys

and this should work?

Thanks for looking into this. I appreciate you

I'm able to create jerseys and know how to extract dds files from previous 2k versions. What I struggle with is the font and the positioning of the numbers. Stove provided some guidance on how to work through it back in the day but it wasn't working for me.

Typically, I just find previously created jerseys with similar font and number positioning/sizes and then make the necessary edits.

Yep, that's what I'd do. You can move the front fonts by editing all 3 jersey*.SCNE in the tweak iff files in this section:

"Material": {
"uniform": {
"Effect": "uniform#4e579163da2bc38f",
"Parameter": {
"PatchRoughness": 0.930000186,
"NameVScale0": 13.0,
"Number0JerseyVOffset": -0.0900000036,
"Number0JerseyUScale": 3.0,
"Number0JerseyUOffset": 0.32249999,
"NBAFinalsPatchScaleV": 14.0,
"Number1JerseyVScale": 8.00000084,
"NameVOffset": -1.86500001,
"NBAFinalsPatchOffsetV": 0.129999995,
"NameArcExtent": 2.59100008,
"NameUOffset": 1.94500005,
"Number1JerseyVOffset": -0.0830000137,
"Number0JerseyVScale": 5.3499999,
"NBAFinalsPatchScaleU": 14.0,

and the West:

I can't get the numbers exactly right but it's close enough for me, also the patch on the back would be each players own team, I relaced that with the AllStar game logo

WOW! I returned to this thread as I was experiencing some difficulties with the SCNE file adjustment. I was hoping you might be able to share the SCNE files, and I can take it from there. But this far exceeded what I was expecting.

This is really impressive! I appreciate your help. By the way, did you also create the jerseys for the West? If not, it's cool.

haha. You posted your response as I was typing mine lol. Good stuff (B) (B)

Numbers looks good enough for me. This will give me a great baseline for the 2007 jerseys.

Hey Bro! Thanks for the update, that's really good to know. I gave up on reproducing the unis. I wasted way too much time with disappointing results smh.

I don't have 24 and don't plan on getting it based on feedback from the community. But I wonder if the jerseys on 24 works on previous versions.

A lot of that negative feedback for 2K24 is warranted and a lot is not. People are upset because it's not Next-Gen and for those who play MyCareer, there is no story according to what I've read. I get it. I started to pass on 2k24 as well, but decided to give it a try. Glad I did. For me, the only thing I would have liked from Next-Gen is the Eras and the better arena lighting. Otherwise, Next-Gen does not actually look better than Last-Gen. Jerseys look painted on, barely any type of cloth physics, players look like clay, that fog is a bit much. What NBA games are these developers watching? I worked for the New York Knicks for 3 years and the Garden never looked like a foggy night. 2K on PS3 had better cloth physics than this so called Next-Gen. Floor lighting is infinitely better on Last-Gen than on New-Gen. Even those who play on the PS5/Xbox have stated that. Now 2K24 on PC does have some benefits over 2K23 besides the floor lighting. Shooting is way better on 24 this year than 23. Even if you green, sometimes with a defender in your face, you will miss the shot or it can go in. You also don't have to green all the time for a shot to go in like you did last year. Text is much sharper this year, making things look much more crisp than last year. Gameplay is much more fluid than last year. You can actually stay in front of the offensive player most of the time. It still has some ways to go, but it doesn't feel like you're on ice skates like last year and previous years. On offense, you don't skate as much either. There are some ProPlay style elements too. Like James Harden's 37 steps step back jumper. Literally looks exactly how he does it in real life. Most things in this game are subtle changes. Nothing major, but definitely feel nice and are welcomed. This of course is only my opinion, but as I tell my employees as well as friends and family in life, judge things for yourself. Not based on what others say. Often times, people like to bandwagon because it's the popular thing at the moment. Especially these days. Anyway, that was my rant for the day. Sorry for the long post. :D

I really appreciate the feedback and insight. I've been skeptical based on videos I've seen on yt, but your take makes me think I should try 24 myself.

You're welcome. Remember, if you do decide to try it and don't like it, you have the 2 hour window to return it for a refund.
