2K23 Customise Logo

Thu Jun 15, 2023 2:23 pm

Hi,
I am new on this forum. I want to understand the file structure of logos.

Main logo logo000.iff
2nd Logo logo000_secondary.iff
3d Mirror Logo logo000_3d.iff
Wm Logo logo000_wm.iff
Wm Logo alt logo000_wm_alt.iff
Mural Logo logo770_mural.iff
Neno LogoA logo000_neon_a.iff
Neno Logo B logo000_neon_b.iff
Cutscene logo philadelphia_76ers_logo

Every time I edit the dds file inside iff, the logo is always missing in game except the mural logo (it doesn't change). I paste the iff file on the mod folder "D:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\NBA 2K23\Mods".
I wanted to edit the main logo, 3d mirror logo, Wm logo, and mural only.
I followed the tutorial here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8qEbF02 ... l=JaoSming hoping it is the same as 2k13.
Can you help me please.

If your logo is missing you have probably saved the dds in the wrong format?

Files with alpha channels are usually saved as BC7 (DXT5).
Files without alpha channels are usually saved as BC1(DXT1 no alpha).
Check the original DDS file. Use this program to view DDS files and the attributes. It's small in size and free.

you can also remove those lines in any .txtr file related to the dds you edit
"Width": 512,
"Height": 512,
"Mips": 10,
"Format": "BC7_UNORM",
"HeaderSize": 148,

note: values can change depending the texture, but the tip should work
