Is importing rosters from 2K20 possible? I spent many hours creating my 1994-1995 retro roster so every team has real players...does buying 2K23 make sense? I don't want to start from scratch.
I am only interested in playing 90s NBA.

No. It is something that I would have liked to have because it would have allowed me to import my PCBasket 2K23 project. But unfortunately there is no feature of being able to import a roster file from a previous game into NBA 2K23 and you have to start from scratch. But it's not all bad news because at least with NBA 2K23 tools you can import the DNA of each player (one by one) and the team data (one by one) with the option to copy and paste.
I would recommend NBA 2K23. I personally think that NBA 2K23 gameplay is the best to date.

Thanks! But the gameplay is modern and not 90s gameplay? I don't like the current style.

2K23 includes Jordan Challenge so it adds new 80s and 90s teams / animations / arenas / jerseys / retro lighting/ and it is more realistic than 2K20 IMO for a retro experience.

No, MyERA is not available on PC but you can unlock Jordan Challenge teams on a custom roster. Hokupguy is working on an awesome project:

Thanks for the info! What are the Jordan challenge teams? I only want to play saison or dynasty with retro teams...1994-95 saison. If you can only play Play now with a couple of teams, I'll stick with 2K20.
How's MyEra by the way? Are you forced to start in 1991 or can you start in 1994 as well? Does it have real draft classes, e.g. real 1997 rookies will be available in 1997?
