Random modding Notes, Discoveries, etc

In prior years on NLSC we had threads were people would share their notes and discoveries.
I haven't seen a thread like that this year or last year so I'm just doing this for record keeping purposes.
Since the NLSC threads show up in search engine results, its a great place to keep vital info.
I see a lot of info from past discoveries isn't known to newer modders because they don't really go back to the old threads.

I notice many people don't use the FAQ and tutorial section so I'll just post here.
Feel free to post whatever you want.

Notes I took about cyber faces that have a "CROWD" configuration.

certain CF's are in the crowd. Not sure how to do it exactly but png9047.iff has a configuration for "CROWD" and I've seen the face in the crowd before w/ low poly hair. This is not a WNBA player. I don't know the other CF id's that appear in the crowd but they can be replaced.




CFID 6400 (child) has a crowd configuration also

I noticed some hidden versions of Michael Jordan that you can not even get on next gen, these are not mods

Not my discovery Credit to Enzo Y on discord but if you use a wnba player model as the base for a mod the jumpshots will look exaclty like theyre suppose to look,the player looks up at the ball in the air like on next gen i tried it out i took a wnba player and changed her gender to male and added her an nba roster and it works im just not skilled enough as a modder to create a nba player from a wnba player base just thought id pass this info along so maybe some of our skilled modders could try this out

I think this has something to do with the skeleton of the 3D player models

I was thinking maybe something with the eyes or something like that but the skeleton makes more sense maybe that’s it I’m going to experiment when I get some time to see if there’s a way to swap the skeleton maybe that’ll work it’ll be a game changer if it does

Howdies TGsoGood,

saw your philippines stadium on youtube. it's pretty neat. added it to the myleague i been playing.

i play on broadcast camera, and there is an empty spot behind the ad/scorer table.

anyways, moved the bleachers forward and move over a soda can and a trash can.... mostly cause the soda dispensor, is pretty cool.
the bleachers kinda slam into the trucks, but whatever... i suppose i could move the bleachers back a little, but ran outta free time.

Just realized that this is probably a product of New Gen faces being ported down.
That woman and kid look pretty similar to individuals I've seen in New Gen crowds since 2K21.

We know they've been using real Cyberfaces, but this means that while they are doing that, they are creating special configs with less LOD's / details, which is probably what makes it so runnable.

2K didn't add it to current gen. You can add some hair to him by using Psamyou'll's CF mixer or manually taking hair from another cyber face and apply it to him.

I just noticed today that the crowd in blacktop + can also have modded clothing. Looyh actually did mod their clothing.
Its crowd_060.iff. I never really thought about it before now. Not many places to discuss blacktop + mods so I posted here.
