Fixed it, I just dragged the TEXT.VCLOCALIZEDATA into my english.iff (exported what I currently had). Changed some names around for my jerseys and what not probably screwed stuff up.
Which color is it supposed to pull from? Can't get Celtics font/numbers off green. Which is okay it'd be cool to be able to change it if possible

Nah, in your screenshot I can literally see the MyCareer text that I replaced. That text simply does not exist in my TEXT.VCLOCALIZEDATA, so it's impossible for the game to be displaying it if it is actually reading from my version of that file, which is the version in the english.iff I included in the download (I just double-checked). The game cannot have multiple versions of the game text loaded at once, so in that screenshot you either enabled / dragged in my english.iff and jumped into a game without restarting (doesn't matter if it was Play Now or MyLeague) or you inadvertently had a folder priority issue with your Mods folders (i.e., you thought it was reading my english.iff but you accidentally had a different english.iff overriding it in a higher-priority folder). Anyway, it's not really important, as long as you've ultimately got it working, which you have, but I'm just clarifying for your understanding.Gotcha thanks! So after a little more testing, it appears that for some teams -- despite what 2K Tools and Team Branding display as your team colors -- 2K has programmed the game to read a pre-determined, different color instead, at least for the sort of game code I've repurposed to generate these colors. You actually need to go into Team Branding, change the affected color slot to a different color, then exit Team Branding while keeping your changes; doing that will 'break' the invisible, 2K-determined color, and thenceforth that color slot will display as it should based on the color that appears in Team Branding. My colored text uses the Secondary and Tertiary color slots, but to be safe you might just wanna change all 3 colors to something else, then change them back, just to break any pre-determined color assignments from 2K.
EDIT: Thanks for calling attention to this, by the way. I was never gonna bother testing all 30 teams home and away, as I knew the principle of the mod was sound, but this has uncovered some weird stuff about color assignments in the game that were otherwise not really exposed.

I don't know if it will fix this issue, but when you change colors via Team Branding, the team status goes from User-Edited = "No" to instead being User-Edited = "Yes". This option can be toggled in 2K Tools, and even if you toggle it back to "No", you will keep the color changes that took effect with the scoreboard. You might try switching it back to "No" and double-checking that the assigned crowd ID in 2K Tools is still the correct one. It may be that if the game thinks you're using a customized team, it might automate the playoff crowds.
EDIT: If you're saying that loading the default branding fixed your crowd issue, then my bet is something going on with the crowd ID when team edits are made.

Not sure if you ran into this problem yet but if your portraits arent showing up for your team after this go into your away jersey in 2k tools and set the optiion "Is Home Jersey" to NO and it should make your portraits reappear in game. Also if you run into the problem of your portraits not showing in game (ESPN Panel, Starting portrait, etc.) and instead are showing as renders. its because this bugs your Home and Away jersey slots. not sure of a fix but a temporary workaround to get portraits to show up in game with your Icon and Association jerseys again is to just replace two of your classic jersey in 2k tools with the _current_home & _current_away jerseys and use those for games. (Making your home and away jersey slots useless). But still works

Yeah this issue happens even with Looyh's plugin. Its because changing team branding does something to your home and away jersey slots that make them somewhat act as custom jersey slots like from the team design share. Ive tried a lot to fix the issue such as replacing the home and away slots and then changing them back to the regular jersey manually but it will still show renders in game (Starting Lineup Portraits, ESPN Panel images, etc.) The work around is to just overwrite two classic jerseys with your home and away jerseys and just use those and leave your actual h/a slots untouched.

Hmmm... here are screenshots from the dummy MyLeague I started just for testing the scoreboard (ignore the missing text; that's due to some unrelated UI experimentation I was doing):
I made zero jersey edits of any kind for those teams, and in general I highly highly advise against messing with jersey slots in 2K Tools. Editing jersey properties within the Edit Jersey interface (including the jersey "Type", which includes "Normal", "Created", etc.) is fine but I always avoid reassigning jersey slots, just because in my experience it leads to chaos (jerseys getting unintentionally overwritten, duplicated, etc.).
EDIT: Also, Maxey is a render there purely because I haven't installed a portrait for him.

But my screenshot shows that Boston's text color has been successfully changed to white, all while not affecting in-game headshots and portraits at all. Menu headshots also appear fine.
