Uniform editing question

What does this file do ? Does it control shading or shine ? The Kings uniform has this file. jersey_rdmo.2a9e5692f5aff981.dds It's the reddish pink colored one.

Which Kings uni?
The reddish pink controls shine normally.
Pink is normal, the more blue, the more shine

The current home and away uniforms. I'm using generic normal and region files to mod the uniform. I left the rdmo files alone and my eyes can't see the difference. I know the region file effects shine.
