you probably downloaded a court made for a previous iteration of 2k. you can try looking for the "ultimate shared folder" that makes courts dating back to 2k20 compatible with 23.

Happened to me, too, when I use the Madison square Garden arena file. Other arenas still work.

Yes, it's the Knick's court, and it's not an older one. Does anyone have a decent one available? Shuajota had one, but his site has been down.
