Setting pick with non big man and icon pass question

Is it possible to ask for a pick from a specific player such as non big man? In previous games we would tap l1 and hold the icon to get screen from those players. Alo what does icon pass settings do? There are 3 options, default, receiver control and pass control?

I don't know about default

recevier control means you can control the receiver, as long as you keep the icon pressed

pass control means you control which type of pass it is, i.e. bounce pass, lob pass etc.
