Spiked, blob characters caused by realistic skin mod

I have been experiencing this issue for a while and finally got around to troubleshooting it. I don't think I downloaded the mod from NLSC rather found it on Shuajota's website. The mod is called "REAL SKIN Global v2 by Sportshub" and it adds realistic skin, sweat, etc to players and members of the crowds alike. It actually looks great but I have come to find out that this mod is causing these blob-like, spikey characters. It mostly affects the crowds but sometimes a player will show up as a spikey blob as well and it makes it difficult to play the game when that player is on the court as the blob covers up a large chunk of the court.

Has anyone else experienced this or know if there has been a fix for it? I imagine I should probably pick a different realistic skin texture mod but this one looks soooo good that I just play with the blobs when they aren't affecting a player and just members in the crowd.

(Also notice in the picture that, in addition to the blob-like characters, in some people it causes a long, blacked out face. Both instances are shown in my attached image.

It's because you're using a Global from NBA2K21 in NBA2K22. They don't transfer between games.
