- Reaching Legend MyREP status will involve achieving Level 40 in four different (not necessarily consecutive) Seasons.
- New songs will be added to the NBA 2K22 soundtrack every Friday throughout the Seasons.
- There will also be seasonal clothing items.
- MyTEAM Seasons will function similarly to NBA 2K21 with the use of Agendas. Season and Lifetime Agendas will provide opportunities to earn XP and card rewards.
- The Level 40 reward for Season 1 in NBA 2K22 MyTEAM is a Pink Diamond "King of New York" Carmelo Anthony card.
- Rewards in The W Online's Seasons include Badges, clothing bundles, nail polish, and other as yet unspecified prizes.
