Major Upgrades in Progress - Temporary Interruptions/Performance Issues

Hey everyone!

Just wanted to update you all on some upgrades that our host is performing for us.

Without getting into all the boring technical details, they're switching us to a different database system and also helping us to optimise the databases, which should get us running in tip-top shape again. They'll also be helping us with further security measures to protect against brute force attacks.

That process is ongoing right now, which is affecting stability and performance even more as you've probably seen. It's a long process, but once it's done the techs are confident in our woes being over, so there appears to be light at the end of the tunnel! My apologies again for the inconvenience, my heartfelt thanks for your support and understanding, fingers crossed it'll be behind us soon. I'll post any progress reports as the techs update me on the situation, but for now, please sit tight.

In the meantime, email notifications in the Forum should be working again. If you haven't received an activation email because you registered before that was fixed, my apologies for the inconvenience.
