Start today fix?

There's been a bug for whenever you start a new start today file, ever since the playoffs, it would have 0 teams in the bracket and be stuck in the play in. I was wondering if anyone had a fix such as tricking 2k into thinking it's a prior time? Or if anyone had a start today file that works from any point close to the playoffs or in the playoffs, or if anyone has a scenario with realistic stats and W/L Records of every team?

anyone have the start today file from before the play-in?? there no shared save files that have anything before the playoffs?!!
