First of all, thanks for all the resources and help available on the forums. Really helps to talk about specific topics in regards to NBA 2K21.
I've come to ask a question since I might be missing something or just plain dumb. I'm trying to add custom player portraits and full-body portraits as well. This is successful, as I can just insert new portrait ID files using the NBA 2k Hook for 2K21 and they work.
They do work, however they only do for players who use the team's original jerseys. I've been testing a lot to see what the cause is and I've come to this conclusion:
1. Player portraits are only displayed on teams that use original jerseys.
2. If a player with a set portrait ID (different than 0) is placed on a team that uses custom jerseys, they no longer are displayed.
3. If I manually unset the team's jerseys the portraits magically appear on players rostered the custom team.
As for custom jerseys' I'm referring to the ones you make inside the game for the team. What I'm trying to accomplish is have my custom created players use my custom portraits on my custom team that uses custom-made jerseys within MyLeague.
Is this even possible? Am I missing something?
As a bonus I can add that inspecting the Jerseys the team is using they all are some Philly jersey file, which is odd since I don't see where my custom jersey is actually saved.
I've been playing with their values a bit to see if something would change, but no avail.
