Does the use of Reshade tool significantly improve your NBA2K21 gaming experienc

After finishing all the cyberfaces, head shots and full body portraits, now I am tinkering with the idea of applying reshade plugins via Reshade tool.
But before I do so (install Reshade), i thought i ask your experience if it's worth it to install?
Does it significantly enhance the graphics performance to a level that the difference between having reshade onand off is like sky and earth?
So correct me if I am wrong, it is to my understanding that we only have 1 reshade tool but we have so many (so called) plug ins for NBA2K21 such as Talismanic, Lenny Yao etc etc etc. Would you say my understanding is correct or wrong?
I won't be asking which reshade plugins is the best because i guess they're all personal preference.

Some of them are an important quality leap. For me this may be one of the best, but it is a personal opinion since some users prefer realistic lighting or on the contrary something more similar to Next-Gen lighting.

for me, reshades do not Look Good at all. maybe it looks Good on a Screenshot, but during live gameplay? no way.

So just to confirm, you don't use any reshade whatsoever and in your opinion, it looks better gameplay wise compared to it with reshade?
I was thinking of going Vanilla too.

Annoyingly some of the court mods are darker and need a ragas but I liked the original colours and don't know how to get them back. The reshades don't seem to make any difference to me with those.

That is my concern too as I was reading them and there don't seem a way to have it removed cleanly and completely. To me, reshades is like a trial and error; chance is i might love them or i might hate them. If it is the latter, then i would hate myself for having reshade installed.
