How to add players to the roster when all the spots are filled?

Is there a way through 2KTools to add players to the roster when all the spots are filled? I want to add Alex Lin to Wizards, And Iman Shumpert to the Nets, but they have all the players that are currently on there.

The only way is to designate some players 2 way players so that it opens up a roster space. I made Cassius Winston a 2 way player so that the Wiz could sign Len.

I believe so. Just go to the player and edit their contract. Change it from a core contract to a 2-way contract
