Stanchion Too Shaky

Postby Lakeshow2482 on Wed Dec 30, 2020 9:18 pm

Hi all. Can anyone make it so that the backboard stanchion doesn't shake? I feel like dunks look better and more real if there is no shake, and I know there's some non NBA modes/gyms that have this and I love the way it looks to be honest. I'd be willing to pay $$ even! Hehe

Hi guys. I guess not possible? Even if there's a way to move an existing basket that doesn't shake, into the current nba arenas? Happy to do myself if anyone knows how to do?

It's weird as there are actually stanchions already in the game that don't shake

Basket movement is related to the arena data within a given roster file.

I don't have NBA 2k21, but for 2k20 the file attached should work. Unzip it and drop into Looyh's NBA 2k20 Tools Data folder.
Under arena/vitals/type, there should be a new field named BASKET_MOVEMENT. It is either 0 (movement) or 1 (no movement).

No idea if 2k21 uses the same offsets as 2k20, that you would need to ask Ksmiz or Looyh himself.
You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.
