Some Modded Arenas Not Working

I was currently downloading Deiby's new Photorealistic mod, and it looks great! Although, for some arenas, it's only the court floor and the entire arena is gone, it just shows a blue-ish abyss (and the characters are pitch black). If there's any fix to this, please let me know!

I have this problem too, arenas that worked normally don't work anymore, what can I do to solve this?

i havent this issue, i play with Steam Offline and havent updated the rosters for days.
Its probably related to sync.bin file or to the modded arenas.

I having problems with the 76ers arena, Hornets arena, Suns arena, and Wizards arena.

Where not these the ones that also had issues before ?

For some reason, I always had a problem with these arenas whenever I put the lighting mods into them. Specifically the s0xx.iff files.

I think these where the same arenas that had issues before with using soxx files.. Let me check my game also.

Here's a quick test with a custom postfx/crowd fx and lightmap floor from 2K19, too bright i know but it works :


So IMO, it's an issue with the lighting mod you use.

All of them work for me also.. Its probably Deibys because i am using lots of mods also.

Did we ever figure out the fix for this? I can't use any sxxx.iff files on the Hornets Sixers Wizards or Suns.

The way to solve is according to my experience, is that the person who presents the problem, send his original s0xx file and all the changes are applied directly, it is something difficult but it is one of the solutions, since I do not know why the application any change in files other than the original directory causes crashes on the court. I downloaded a court that had this problem but as the changes in the texture were minor, I could find the error in one of the codes in the change of the texture and I solved it and the court worked for me, but with large projects where there are many changes It is difficult to know what texture is causing the problem, because I think that some games handle different codes. I'm not really sure, but that's one of the solutions.

Another solution that can be done (although it's less of a solution and more of a hotfix) is to delete the original sxxx file, duplicate an sxxx file of a court that works, and rename the duplicated court to the sxxx file that was deleted. Since the lighting on the duplicated sxxx file is not made specifically for the arena, it may be a little bit off-looking and may have some misplaced/wrong team assets, but it's a good temporary fix.

Has there been any update on a permanent fix for this? New courts released possibly?

i have a problem with arenas too in few arenas like the modded pistons one or the hornets arena, some modded players are invisible. uuit works great without problem in the others arenas.


i used to mod nba 2K since 2K8 and i always have found a way too resolve every issues I had but for this one i have no answers!!!

I am having the same issue, with trying to use the stanchion patches. What exactly would I need to change?

You need to extract stadium again and redo mods; some arenas before 1.07 are not compatible with pre 1.07 arenas...and vice versa.......
