Hello. I've wanted to mod the soundtrack of 2k21 with my own music and for the most part, I tried to use the 2k20 music converter to mod my tracks but when I put them in the mods folder, the game outright skips them. I've also tried to play the converted tracks in VLC but they're mostly 1 minute of no sound. I tried loading them into Audacity and they are complete with the original sounds. I tried posting on the Music Converter post in 2k20 but no response yet and I've checked the other post here but there hasn't been any updates. Is there still something I'm doing wrong?

Hi lastingman,
I had the same problem using looyh's music converter for 2K20. Put the files in the mods folder (not waigua since its 2K21) and the tracks dont play or the game crashes on startup if a modded track is being played.
Hoping for a solution, but I will keep trying. Thanks for posting

There's nothing your doing wrong. At this point, we can only wait patiently for a new plugin to release from Looyh or another talented creator.
What's weird is that if you export the song files and put them right back into the mod folder, they don't play in-game at all. They should.
This makes me suspect that 2K updated the wav header this year. I know nothing about fixing / removing these but it's what I suspect.
Happy modding!
