Jersey edition

Mon Sep 28, 2020 10:58 am

Hi! i have been having some difficults to edit or create jerseys. My problem is when i need to edit de neck or the left and right. I don't how to do it, because i don't have a clear view of what i'm doing. My question is if there is some blender template to actually see what i'm doing or smth that can help me. Thanks!!

I want to know this too. As of now, you have to do trial and error for the most part

You can view your work in progress in game but it's limited. Copy your IFF file to the MODS (formerly waigua) folder. Go to a play now game, then the jersey select screen. You can view the front of the uniform and the accessory colors. When you make more edits, copy the IFF file again, use the RT/LT to select a different team, go back to your team and the changes will show. You can get a more detailed view by going in to a game or freestyle/scrimmage in 2KU and then use the replay. Back in 2K14 there were Blender files plus the 2KXModtool could view uniforms. I'm new to modding 2K20/21 so maybe a Blender file exists. For now I use an existing NBA uniform as a reference to align stripes, design elements, wordmarks and logos. I just turn off this layer before saving the DDS file.

check robdavis' template.
there's a layer with the jersey model flattened.
