NBA 2K17 Explorer not working?

I’m using Looyh explorer....2k17 explorer don’t work for me

I couldn't get it to work either but Looyhs is just better in every regard anyways.

Then go to the link he posted on the original post on how to use it. TSOGood has a youtube video a few posts in on that thread. Super easy to use.

Yeah Looyhs tool works awesome once you get the hang of it. Thanks for sharing (ThunderShaq shared as well)

My only problem is: you can't view the files with that tool... as in... in the 2K17 explorer tool, you had the iff editor, allowing you to view the art files and export them into the modded folder directly from that editor.

It's how we viewed all the different portraits and identified which ones we could overwrite, how we discovered ones that were hidden in the finals, and how we found other art files.

We could still preview some, it was incredibly helpful. I've been using the explorer tool since day 1, and it has always helped a lot (shoutout to gregkwaste). An organized tool that I enjoyed.

I won't be doing heavy modding on 2K21, just a little sad the explorer tool isnt compatible with the game.

i know what you mean, this preview function was great and this tool had a big part in this gen modding
but unfortunately gregkwaste isnt around for a while and the tool is outdated for 2K18~20, non compatible with 2K21 and slow as hell

I've tried using Looyh's explorer to export files from 2K21, but every time I try and open archive using 7zip, I get an error message, so the files are basically useless. I don't know what the problem could be since the explorer works perfectly fine with 2K18, 19, and 20. Has anyone else had this problem?
