Does anyone have problem with Nike Lebron 17 Mismatched laces shoes? When i put them in game in any shoe slot and want to chose them game crashes especially in my career. All other shoes working perfectly and they are amazing thanks Doctor Kicks for all of them

My bad guys, I'm sorry for not knowing that I have saved a wrong file..it causes the shoe_fe of the Lebron 17 MM Laces to cause a crash...I have fixed the link... try to download just the shoe_fe_xxxxxxxx.iff and tell me if it works

you can put any mod to any slot. doesn’t mean it’s a Nike or whatever that u should put it in a Nike slot. etc

From what I understand, the shoe vault is essentially a list of every editable shoe ingame. When DK is saying that you can put a shoe in any slot, he is right. You can replace an Adidas shoe with a Nike shoe mod. The game is gonna show you the mod, even with the thumbnail (except the name of the shoe, that can't be changed).

The first problem is there's a limited numbers of slots and there are some shoes that someone doesn't want to get rid of. But the biggest problem is that 2K locks the shoes. I haven't tested a lot of things in 2K21 but last time I checked, Nike players can only use Nike shoes. There are even some hard-locked shoes that only can be used by certain players (like only Paul George being able to use the PG4 MPE PE) and are hidden for the other players. There are some players that are "brand-less" like Dinwiddie and can choose anything. When we started doing our first mods last year, there was already a tool (I think it was Hook) that let any players use any shoe in the game, so everything was easier. I suppose this is gonna come some time next year.

With that being said, if the shoe isn't on the vault it doesn't matter. Only thing that matters is the brand. Using the Gobert shoe as an example, it doesn't matter if the Airmax is not on the vault, only thing that matters is that you use a slot of a Nike shoe. For the OMN1S Sunrise, you can use the KAWHI PE slot. Even though you can put a shoe in any slot, going back to the Gobert Airmax example, if you put that shoe on the PG4 MPE PE slot, that Airmax isn't gonna be available for Gobert to select, but it's gonna show as a default shoe for Paul George.

Last but not least, the shoevault is outdated. That's a 2K20 list. On my signature, there's a list for 2K21 (the "List of Editable Shoes" part). If DK wants to update the shoevault with that info, I don't have any problem.

Talking about that, finally, there are some new shoes added to current-gen so I'm gonna update my list today.

Great to announce that my 2k20 shoe mods are fully compatible with 2k21!!! Stay tuned for more!

HOW TO USE:
1) replace the 'x' according to the table= (ShoeVault(Slots).xlsx) below:
IMPORTANT!!!

ShoeVault(slots).xlsx

- shoe_ng_xxxx.iff & shoe_style_xxxx.iff = choose under the column named "ID"
- shoe_fe_xxxxxxxx.iff = choose under column named "SHOE PORTRAIT" according to what slot u decide to choose

EXAMPLE:
you chose Adidas D.O.N. Issue #1 PE slot... so the corresponding ID is 2060;
and the shoe portrait is shoe_fe_ed311c1d.iff
- then change the 'x
- your files should look like this:
shoe_ng_2060.iff
shoe_style_2060.iff
shoe_fe_ed311c1d.iff

2) THEN,paste the files u have renamed into this folder Mods>Shoes
- not Mods only, inside your Mods folder there should be a folder named Shoes. Create one if you don't have it.

3) Then go edit a roster and edit player then equip the shoe.
