Is there any preview of the single components of this modpack? I have courts that I like, too (Den2k) and would like to have a comparison before I override anything.
Also little bit offtopic but I am curious: Doesn't the NBA use Wilson Balls from this season on?! Why is there still a spalding Ball in the game?

You can open the fxxx.iff files with 7zip and then check the courts textures. They are .dds files, you can open them with Photoshop, Gimp, paint.net, etc.
And the agreement between NBA and Wilson is for the 2021-22 season.

Ah, then I just didn't remember it right. Thanks for clearing that up.

Yeah did that, though it's hard to compare, as DEN2k uses single texture courts and here the courts are consisting of multiple texture files. But from what I've seen, they look great!
What came to my mind when seeing this: It's really sad, that we don't have any tutorials about sth like this. I mean there must be knowledge around on how to make changes to court files to make it either use a single texture file for the whole court or on the other hand use multiple files to put together the court. Why is there no tutorial about that? I mean, it just takes some modders "retiring" and all that knowledge is gone forever or has to be discovered again.

So has anyone installed this in their game? Thoughts?

Making a tutorial takes time, if its a video its even more complicated : knowledge of recording tools, courage to talk (in english) on internet ... and desire to do it.
Some guys also want to keep "their secrets"

Fortunately, we have guys like Bongo, Looyh, Ksmiz, Shuajota, TheGoods, Dee etc...
basicly, 1 texture is the easy way for modded courts.
multiple textures is the way 2K works. you have to open the court in blender (2K works probably with Maya) and move/assign textures on the right location. Hardwood flood texture is repeated. So its probably better in term of performances and overall result (i find that reflections and floor look better using this method), but its the hardest way.

Highly recommend it.
I mean... jesus... look how good this looks. I might change the name of mine to "improved lighting", because this with all of its components far more resembles next gen than mine.

The lighting looks absolutely incredible but the blues seem like they don’t have enough saturation. Or is it just me? The blue on the wizards looks black and the blue on the warriors seems faded. Which is odd because the reds pop like crazy especially on the raptors. Why are just the blues a bit more muted?

The blues look good to me, on the Warriors jerseys as well. Look at the back of the Wizards jersey (the numbers) in the final screen.
I looked into what they did with the reshade settings, and the options used are a lot of the same ones I used for mine (DPX, Clarity, etc), but they added many other tweaks and options that give it that look.
I think they did an amazing job. What I will say is the lighting at times can be over the top on certain courts, as in it kind of washes out some things it seems... but the positive outweighs the negatives IMO.

I tried the Talismanic's reshade with rtomb_03's realism stadium.
Sadly I feel like it won't mash up well with rtomb_03's foggy style, too bright I think.

skadoodle's reshade seems more viable, not as aggressive as talismanic but still have that next-gen feeling.

Are these courts that you included here actually created for 2k21 or are these the courts that he created for 2k20? Asking cause I saw that Cavs use their 50 years court design from last year and also the Raptors court looks outdated compared to other court releases.

Courts files work on 2K21 and 2K20.

That was not my question. My question was if these courts originally have been created for NBA 2k20, as two courts I checked (Cavs and Raptors) were not the courts that these teams use this year.
Also I did not see any courts made by Sith for 2k21, yet he had a very good court pack for 2k20 (
viewtopic.php?t=108905). So did you just use his 2k20 courts for this pack here?

Ah okay, now I understand. Well, I have uploaded the content as Talismanic has uploaded. If he updates the modpack with updated courts I will re-upload it.
Perhaps he has probably used 2K20 courts, maybe from Looyh's realism pack or another modder.

Talismanic used "4k Courts by Sith" in his pack, so yeah, its probably old/early 2K20 versions.

Blue color is way too light in talismanic reshade, maybe i'm doing something wrong?

The reshade in this version is too light in general, he is updating it.
