Creating "Action Shot" Mods

Hello, I am new to modding in general and wanted to start of easy, for example, changing the action shots on different players to make them look better and more up to date. (For example putting Levert in a Pacers jersey.) [img][img][/img][/img]

So how would I start going about this?

Extract and open the current action shot .iff file for him, replace the pic with the dds action shot you have created and drop it into the mods folder.
