Editing logo.iff files

Postby Racing Kid on Mon May 31, 2021 1:03 pm

Hello everyone! I just got the game recently from the Epic Games store and I am running into some issues with editing the .iff logo files. I am trying to edit the Miami Heat logo (logo010.iff) and change it to a custom logo that I made. I was able to extract the .iff file with the NBA2K21 Export Console tool, however, when I try to open the file in Photoshop, I am receiving the following message: "Could not open logo010.iff because the file-format module cannot parse the file.". How can I edit this file? Do I have to convert to a different file format? Thank you!

I have tried to open the .iff file in 7-Zip by right-clicking on it and then going to 7-Zip --> Open Archive. When I click on Open Archive, I am receiving an error message that says "Can not open file as archive."

no idea. you could try Bandizip... that's the program that i use
maybe the .iff didn't extract correctly and was corrupted. attached to this post is the 2k21 logo10.iff

Thank you for the file! This helps a lot! I think I might understand what the problem is. I was using version 1.1 of the NBA 2K21 Export Console tool to extract the game files. In the latest patch, the manifest file was removed. Unfortunately, with the newest version (1.2) of the tool, I cannot even open the .exe program. It crashes immediately when I run the program.

that is strange. looyh 1.2 exporter works perfect with epic 2k21.

i grabbed the manifest file from here https://www.2kspecialist.net/2021/05/nb ... 02-by.html just cause i like having it in the 2k21 install folder.

anyways, I also extract the 1.2 exporter exe to the 2k21 install folder.... just so things are organized.

could be your antivirus blocking the 1.2exporter exe .... not sure if epic games has a "verify files" ... but if your internet is fast, could re download epic 2k21.

I was able to get version 1.2 of the NBA 2K21 Export Console Tool to work. I added an exclusion for the .exe file on Windows Defender Security and my anti-virus software. I can also open the files that I wanted to extract. Thank you for your help with the videos! I look forward to modding the logos in the game!
