Offline roster installation Epic to non epic

So I have nba 2k21 on epic games, but it works for crap as you all well know, and for some reason 2k21 is more expensive the 2k22 for pc still !!! Anyway, I want to move my save file from epic 2k to a non epic version but I keep getting save game is corrupted errors, any ideas on how to get it to load? I have been using the save game rename the file I want copy paste rename method from 2k20 offline install
