Editing body shape in Blender

Which tools do you guys use to edit muscle shape of a player model?

I just got a new PC and haven't really used blender since 2k19. I just recently dowoaded Blender but its version 2.92. I looked at tutorials but most of them deal with version 2.7 something and I can't seem to get right with being able to edit in Blender.

Any assistance would be appreciated. Thanks

Modders still pretty much use the 2.7x and the early 2.8x versions of Blender. The development of the importer/exporter tool for the 2K models pretty much stopped at those versions.

The best options is to grab the older versions which are still available on the blender site and just follow along with those tutorials you found.

You need to use Blender 2.79 and download the NBA2K Model Importer/Exporter.

Yea I just downloaded 2.79 version and I followed tsgoods tutorial but I can't seem to get the addons to show up in user preferences. Not sure if it is the way I downloaded version 2.79 but for whatever reason I do not have a "blending Foundation" after I click the roaming folder.

But I did see a "scripts" folder so I put the blender addons inside the "addons" there. But it still did not seem to load up correctly.

The specific version of 2.79b that has worked for me is the portable: blender-2.79b-windows64.zip

Also there are a lot of versions of the importer/exporter going around. The author would upload fixes for different issues. This version that I've attached I can confirm can properly import/export the body and hair model for blender 2.79b and 2.8. It doesn't work on facial hair though. I haven't found a version that does even though I've asked around.
