I don't think he is referring to converting the PC game into its Nex-Gen version.
Perhaps he wants to say how he can "simulate" the Next-Gen experience on a graphical level. If so, I recently posted a link to simulate lighting with a reshade. I also did a tutorial to install it:

Sure he meant that. Still, just changing the lightning won't turn the game into anything to looks somewhat similar to next gen in my opinion. But still, to each their own!

Agreed. Having played the next gen version it it's night and day difference between the two. Next year when it hits PC will be phenomenal.

I disagree with this, as the body models and the majority of the faces are the same as the PC version of NBA 2K21. I have 2K21 for the Series X and the PC, and while the lighting is superior on the Series X (If you like a lot of brightness and contrast), the player models and face mostly remain exactly the same. With increased crowd lighting mods, and floor mods that improve the reflections as well as a global that adds different shadowing on the players, you can actually make PC look VERY comparable from the gameplay and close up perspectives.

Some would actually prefer the less washed out look of NBA 2K20 with the mods BJEFF is using over next gen.

Just some food for thought. I am enjoying next gen NBA 2K21, but the graphics are absolutely nothing groundbreaking or over the top. I have seen many, many side by sides with mods that have PC looking more than compareable.

i agree with Dee about the graphics of next gen 2k (from what i've seen). I would browse the 2kbasketball operation sports forum for gameplay impressions... but they just kept on talking about graphics.

I finally got sick of all the graphic this graphics on the impressions page ... that i made a post about it here: https://forums.operationsports.com/foru ... tcount=357 .

It is nice to hear that improvements have been made in movement/gameplay next gen. but next gen 2k graphically can be similar to modded PC.
