A problem has been encountered that prevents the gameplay to be continuing

I get this message every time i try to play any online mode, maybe someone had this happened for them and someone knows any solutions?

I've encountered it a couple of times in previous games when playing on PS4 (I don't really touch online play in PC). My understanding is that it's a bug/server issue from 2K's end, possibly related to events but also just as likely 2K's shoddy track record with online support in general.

If you're on PC you can try removing any mods you're using (if you're using any mods, of course) and verifying the game files through Steam just to be sure, but as I said, I've encountered it on PS4 so it's more likely server-related. Judging by the Google results, it's definitely not uncommon. Some people have tried port forwarding and the like in their router settings, though there's no guarantee of success there. I don't think there's much more that we can do from our end, unfortunately.
