ThaLiveKing wrote:Yeah I meant the speed break, I think I figured it out, It has to be the "dunk in traffic" slider. The break your referring too I believe it's the fatigue slider causing it. I turned fatigue and stamina down to 0 for 2K20 and the game felt smooth for the whole game. Fatigue I believe slows down the animations to make players seem like they're tired.

Strange... I adjusted the player movement sliders and kept fatigue at default and the speed and acceleration wasnt breaking even close to as much... did you try that?
I have fatigue at 40 and as you see in the video, the speed/acceleration looks better.

My issue with the game even from the games in the past is which sliders or attributes/tendencies affect these areas:
*Break away speed in transition. In real life you see players go into a different gear once they get into transition.
*Faster one-on-one moves. Just seems like all the animations for dribbling and go to moves seem a lil sluggish. I would like to see guys have a quick first step or quicker dribbling moves.
But I'm a plug these in later tonight.

in real life, one on one, no big can contain a fast player on the first steps which was always hard to reproduce on virtual hardwood.

Was about to ask the same. Cant do my normal tweaks this year. New born in the house.
If anyone can put up suggestions. Shooting at a decent clip and stopping the cpu from bulldozing down the lane would help alot. These 2 are game breakers.

Try putting all CPU shooting tendencies at 0 and turn up offensive awareness, tell me what you get from that. I did have the CPU running sets, and it was the Knicks. I'm tweaking movement stuff at the moment, I think 55 is the sweet spot for shooting sliders.

I think the game is hard coded to bull-doze to the paint. But the best way to counteract this (in my opinion) is by roster editing plus some tendency adjusting...I know the roster part is tedious thats why I only edit like 2 teams a day. But for the sliders, I put the CPU:
3pt shooting- 100
Inside- 25
Mid- 50
Close- 25
Attack- 0
Roster Editing tendencies:
*Spot up 3pt shooting
*Contest 3pt shooting (75+ for just about all guards)
*Drive layup and Drive dunk (make pretty low especially for non drivers)
*Drive, off screen drive make it low
*Attack basket vs dish out (make it 50/50 or dish out higher for a more drive and kickout play)
I still have a lot of testing but I'm liking what I've seen so far. Just with the 76ers, Bucks, Bulls, and Cavs.
As far as the shooting, still messing around with that. I got all shooting at 55 which sees okay for now.

Going to check it out. Like I asked ThaLiveKing, is there a way for the cpu to share the load? Like instead of just one player scoring 50 points you get a couple of dudes scoring 10 or 20.
