well, i've had this game for a whole 2 days (gifted from a friend) and these scenes irritate me so much that i sat down and figured out how to remove them from loading.
Off all the things that could be added to pregame (user drive percentage over last 5 offline games, user shot chart over last 5 games, favorite user plays, etc etc etc ) we get this junk..... If i remember correctly, this stuff is similar to 2k11 pre game scenes... of course, my memory might be wrong.
EDIT: game uses the maingameflow to randomly select which pre game scenes are selected to play. Can't edit the .flow ... so just renamed these within teaser.iff... so, no black scenes or anything with these removed. just other pregame scenes selected... and which pregame scene is used seems to be selected at random based on home team, it seems like.
EDIT2: only works for quick play, bleh.... game loads teaser.iff --- but when loading quick play custom roster or my league game -- game pulls from TMP.BIN and not the regular teaser.iff ..... gonna have to figure this out some other time, bleh... hate those scenes.
there might be some cut scenes that i missed...
