I can't open dds files even with WTV

So, I recently posted a topic asking for help to modify DDS files. I couldn't use them in photoshop, but was able to modify a portrait with paint.net and WTV. I'm trying to modify a court floor, but I'm not able to open the dds files inside of the arena iff file.
