HOW TO CREATE NBA 2K20 SCOREBOARD?

Does anyone have tutorial on how to make a scoreboard for NBA 2k20?

I’m not trying to scare you off but there is a reason why there is only a few guys making scoreboards. It’s pretty brutal lol. I’m honestly not sure I would subject myself to the torture again. That being said, the community could use more people doing scoreboards so I can share tips that looyh or bongo shared with me which got me started and pointed in the right direction.

Bongo88 on YouTube has a video that helped me learn the blender aspect. I probably watched it 50 times while learning. Once you get that down you will be able to move and resize the main scoreboard features.

Hex editing is tougher. You need to change some values to move certain things like the actual numbers or team names. Best way to figure out what needs changing is to get a scoreboard mod and open the scoreboard.iff file and click on the “modified” header. It will sort the files so you can see which files have been worked on by that modder. Then take the original scoreboard and whatever files where modified in the other, compare the original with the modified one using a hex comparison program or if it’s a SCNE file, compare them on a text comparison website.

I wanted to create a variations of scoreboards like we have in 2k17 and 2k18, which with looyh's tool could make the game even more realistic.

i saw bongo's tutorial on youtube and i think i got what it needs with the blender part, but there was no reference there about the hex edit, and how to move all of the txt files to where i want, just the texture which i think i got this part ..

so if someone could help me understand all the hex editing part that could help alot

i geuss a video tutorial about scoreboard hex/notepad editing (just like bongo did with the textures) would help a lot.
i have so many questions to ask and probably need to see a video to understand how it works ..

Hi bongo, thank you for your comment, i really have almost zero knowledge about hex editing so i have no clue about float values or what it does .. the best way for me to understad it, is to actually hear and see you hex edit the actual scoreboard .. like you did with the texture..
but i know it can take time and effort to do such a video again
