NBA 2k20.5 - Back on Track

I haven't seen anything that can change the schedule in 2K20

I'm on 2K21 but I am actually looking forward to this release, particularly Cyberface for Moses Brown.

Without a way to change the schedule of MyGM I’m not really fired up anymore. I’ve given my attention to other games and other activities at this point.

We’ll see if I get the motivation to put out like a play now roster or something but I’m not really in the business of putting out the faces for people to just scavenge and pick apart the content they want for 2k21 conversions or whatever.

I'm confused....With all due respect, this projected/thread has been hyped up for several plus months. The 2.0 draft update, the G-League free agents update, etc. Bro please tell me you plan to complete this amazing project? It will literally keep 2k20 alive for some time! I'm blown away by this news. We respect the time and effort you put into your draft class release, and are thankful for that. Best wishes and thanks again for the draft class your provided!

You were one of the main reasons many people like me were staying on 2k20 version.

From my understanding from an art perspective, the cyberfaces were made by others in this project (you worked on tattoos, did some portraits, etc). Like the faces you posted in here were created by others. Did they say they don't want the faces to be released outside of this mod?

Also, this was a free mod and the update was going to be free (as they should be), what would be the problem with the community having those faces individually, and even doing conversions as long as they gave proper credit? The community is about sharing and giving eachother more enjoyment with these games.

I understand if those modders don't want to release outside of the project, that is up to them. But the notion that it is a negative if the community picked out art aspects of the mod and used them for personal use or even conversions doesn't make sense to me.

I wouldn't be using them, as I don't play 2K20 much anymore and this content doesn't interest me really. So this statement has nothing to do with that.

Projects get put off, life happens, our interests change, etc. I still have not finished my NBA 2K16 UCTR. But one of the biggest points of modding and sharing our work, is to improve others experiences with the game, and allow them to use those assets.

I dont understand. If you want can you explain how that one thing can just deflate the whole entire project? You first posted about this I think around Oct of 2019. All that is just gone now?

Bruh!!!!!.....I'm still taking back by this. This has been 2019 plus in the making. Was hoping you could still release the mods you previewed on your thread like Kennedy Meeks, Marcus Paige, etc under that 2k20.5 release. This will go down as one of the best projects never released. Very rare the mod creators focus on all the players never added to 2k. You would set a trend for 2k. Nevertheless, I'm sure you had your reasons.

So......is it safe to assume that this thread is DEAD?

I dont quite understand why you are leaving this project for now when its something as small as the gm dates not being lined up to today im sure 99% of the community dont care we just want your amazing cyberfaces, signatures, tendencies and new players added to the free agent pool. He’s definitely putting out some heat. I’ll be creating a 2021 draft class based on his faces and working his rookies into the NBA 2k20.5 roster for the 2021-22 season.
