You know they can still steal it right? Like, as soon as they get the PW from you the file is "theirs" to re upload somewhere else. But, barely anyone (if any) on here PW protects their uploads. It's a trust the modder's give to the community. I would suggest taking off the PW and just doing donations for your work if you'd like. Just a thought. Thanks for your work though. I understand that, but I do know who is downloading the files and I do not have to send the files to people who are affiliated with certain modder groups who have been known for that. I did no passwords last year and I saw some of my mods out there.

Donations however are something to consider.

Dude, don't take it wrong .... I've been doing mods for at least 10 years. I don't know everything ok? But trying to get some "rights or protection" in mods does NOT EXIST!

Because it's a game already monetized, we can't win on that, of course, we can ask for donations, help, but in fact, try to protect such a file, for what?

I don't waste my time on this. Seek the love and appreciation of the people in this community, so if someone steals your mods and uses them, you'll always have someone to defend your work!

Now, still, if they steal your mod, what will change in your life?

As I always say, I only do it for the community, to make our game more fun.

I appreciate your feedback. This is how I'm doing it for the time being but as I mentioned, I am considering the donation route instead.

Announcement fellas. First, I appreciate all of the feedback and I'm glad you guys enjoy the patches. I am going to unprotect files going forward, as it going to be difficult to keep up with all the requests as I do more; I also know it's a pain to have to PM for every update. I just ask of course for the standard modding community etiquette as far as not re-releasing and modifying my files for release without communicating first or at a minimum giving proper credit.
