Hey Darth,

Maybe you can help me.
I downloaded your roster (amazing work by the way), and made a few adjustments (for my personal use).
I launched a season, successfully, but when i try to run the first game, it crashes to desktop....
Any clue ?
It's so frustrating!!!

I checked my "modified" roster with another waigua, it worked.
I tested that waigua with another roster, it crashed.

If someone knows what file, within a waigua folder could generally make the game crash... It would be nice to share it.

Here are some recommendations...

1st of all...
If you installed Watermarks, Wipes, Scoreboards or recently modified your Looyh Hook Config...I would suspect that is where the problem is...so check that 1st.

What Teams are playing when you launch the game?
What Mods are being launched when you run the game?
This helps to pinpoint the issue...if other Teams don't crash when you launch a Game it has to do with a Mod

Here's an example...
My crashing issue with my v3 Rosters was caused by an incompatible NBA 2k21 TNT Watermark...
This meant every time I launched a game that had a TNT Theme the game would crash...if it was ESPN, FOX, MSG etc...the game would run properly.

2. Make sure you didn't install a 2k21 Mod that isn't compatible.

3. Go to the Folder where your NBA Mods you downloaded are saved and sort by date.
Remove the most recently installed Mods you installed and try running the game.

I feel your pain and was going crazy when my v3 Rosters were crashing just before I was about to launch them.

It sometimes takes longer...but I test every Mod I install before installing another to avoid these issues.

Re-trace your steps to the last time the game was running fine and eventually you will figure out what you did.

For the updated courts, I don't see any updated jersey descriptions with a " * ", rather they are just the normal descriptions of old year alternate jerseys (even though the jerseys images themselves are changed).

For ex: The Magic City 2021 jerseys are under Classic Alt '94-'98, not City 2021*.

And when I launch the game with these new jerseys (like Magic City 2021), the court is just default Orlando court.

Is there a step in between where I have to assign all the new courts from the court pack to the jerseys? Could it be something wrong with my hook download?

Make sure you have the Rosters loaded before you start a Game and the Courts are in your Waigua Folder...if you do not see "Stars" in the right place...you didn't load the UAR Rosters.

This is what I see...





If there is an NBA 2k20 Folder in your Main Folder or in your WAIGUA Folder you didn't install the Mod right.

It works Bro...so it's something you didn't do in the Instructions I provided.

Sounds like there is a conflict in the Mods you are running...too much going on...maybe?

The fact you mentioned Hook and assigning Jerseys...I'm sure your problem lies in your Config

I'm sure if you do a Fresh Install of you WAIGUA and verify your Config File in Hook and keep an eye on what you are installing moving forward..it will work!

I just fixed it.
Re-download the Rosters from Steam.


Every time I move the Jersey order around for teams it messes up the "linked courts" sometimes.

Let me know if there are any more like that!!

I modified Mavs Court but when playing with "Real Madrid Baloncesto" - like jersey, the court linked is the 80's vintage Mavs' one. I don't know if it's normal.

You need to use the NBA Tool by Looyh to adjust it.

I just finished re-linking some Courts because I had moved Jerseys around which causes the "alternate court" configurations to RESET sometimes...It takes a lot of time to go through them all to verify everything is working properly so I won't be doing another Jersey re-order.

I'm just doing some Final Updates before I release UAR v6.

You can use Looyh's NBA2k20 Tools to re-order the Jerseys how you wish if you want to wait for the v6 Update since that will be my last release.

It's easy to do...just takes time to re-order the Jerseys, re-link courts and do testing.

Yes..v6 will be my last release.

I'm moving on to 2k21.
I will still keep NBA 2k20 installed on my PC until the Servers go down so if there are any issues with the Final Release I will still be able to do fixes.
Plus...I want to play a bit before I start editing 2k21 Rosters.

I'm pretty sure someone will volunteer to keep updating the UAR 2k20 Rosters or use them as a Base for future updates.

When I 1st started modding the 2k20 Rosters I mentioned I would wait until 2k Sports is practically giving away NBA 2k21.
It's currently almost 70% off so it's pretty cheap...LOL

I should be releasing v6 in a few days...

I can't seem to get the shoes to work properly. Guys like Embiid and Luka have "2k generic" shoes. I tried using the global and shoe_global in your files too. Portraits of some players are missing too like Thybulle, Garland, Okoro
