At least he gives the community something instead of just showing how l33t his results are and then never releasing nor saying what he's done to obtain the effects so that others could make those changes and release the mod themselves. You have plenty of such examples in this same thread.

I was also impressed with the lighting level of version 3 that I liked, I will work on that version for all stages in two realistic version models and the 2k14 effect I hope for your support and your opinions are important to me

Bluejay... constantly jumping into others peoples threads and coming down on them, while in many cases you are doing the same practices, is getting really old and I think you need to find a different approach.

You literally have a thread on here where basically all the work posted so far is other peoples work with your edits. That is part of what this OP is doing, and you are calling him out on it... it makes no sense whatsoever.

Note: It doesnt matter if the work you are displaying on your thread is for a roster project, and people who are working with you on that. They are still "Frankenstein" showcases of you editing other peoples base work. It's the same premise, Deibys is giving credit, just like you will be if and when you release your roster. Both of you are editing and showcasing work of others.

I used the bases from Elite's Oubre and EnterTheVoid's Wiggins but then did some major adjustments and texture work. Some of my favorite players so I had to go all out. Still looking to edit the bodies.

The OP has also been giving due credit with his previews and releases, and looks to be tweaking and making adjustments just like you are on your thread.

Take a look at what I used for bases and try to tell me that it’s the same product. The first post is literally 100% my own.

I know you’re obsessed with me but I’ve gotten tired of this back and forth. You always want to start something. If you want to defend this guys practices be my guest. Maybe it’s because you haven't made anything for a 2k game lately but it’s sad to see how fall you’ve fallen. You’ve lost all integrity about this place. There’s no way the Dee of 3 years ago would be cool with a guy putting ad-links on a video. But you’ve compromised your morals to win a back and forth. You’re not worth my time. Pulling in quotes from other threads to start a worthless argument? People have come to me about it and I’ve told them I’ve noticed your insistence as well but I’ll let it go and move past it.

You are still using others work and editing it BlueJay, you literally announce the names of the peoples work you are using in that example, just like Deibys. I am not the one starting things, and am certainly far from obsessed with you. You just need to find a different approach instead of constantly coming down on people in different threads, while simultaneously doing some of those same practices.

Leave this modder alone. He hasn't broken the rules or done anything wrong. Both of you are editing already created work, which is what a lot of people do here on the forums. And as long as credit is given, that's usually enough of the original creator to OKAY it.

You could mention you are frustrated with his use of adfly, or that its impacting you getting to the download links, or report a post you see fit. But the rest of it is completely unnecessary.

Personal attacks make no sense here, as I never stated that adfly links were a good practice, in fact I have said many times that they are frustrating. Saying that I am "cool" with them is you gaslighting, and frankly being untruthful. I said that it's commonly used, and it is. And, while its frustrating, it's not breaking any rules.

I have not compromised any morals (another personal attack), I am still active on here and a contributing member of the community (in conversation and modding). You are not a mod though, neither am I. And while certain things can and should be called out, or we can be vocal about our frustrations (adfly), the report button exists for a reason, as do the mods themselves.

No, please, it is fine as it is. The problem of all these lightning mods (as Michaelvultz's one) is that they saturate too much the colors giving that "gaming look" that is totally fake. The lightning, especially in the Nets court, SHOULD BE very deem and weakly saturated. This is how the real thing looks like:

Look at how lowly saturated the colors actually are. If you don't want your mod to look fake and gamy you shouldn't go all saturated, as real colors are not like that.

I actually really like that this mods looks much more realistic than other lightning mods that go really overboard with the lightning (even more than vanilla does).

To Bluejay, I have always discouraged the use of adfly links, but they don't break the rules. I never have a problem with anybody speaking up on them if it bothers them, my problem was that you threw in that he was making frankenstein work (using others and building off of that, and including that with him beinh toxic. That in itself is not, as he gave full credit and it's something that the majority of the community does, and as I stated prior, as long as credit is given and the original creator doesn't care, the modder shouldn't be criticized for that practice. You have done it, I have done it, etc etc. And, if we are going to jump on everybody for adfly at all times, well we may want to get busy, because it's used quite often.

Language barrier? Yes I noticed that, we can work with that. But some things are just common sense, and clearly you know that you can post youtube videos without adfly, because you have done it before. You are not breaking any rules by doing it, but it really discourages the community who wants to check out your work, and makes the community hesitant to support you. Put a donation link up like Lagoa, Shuajota, etc, and be a good community member, and you would probably make more on donations than you would EVER make on adfly links. Just some advice on what I would do if I were you.

To everybody else, I feel like we have addressed the concerns (Between myself, Bluejay, and ShadyMike), if the OP doesn't change his ways, i guess my suggestion would be to stay out of the thread or not download his work, because he is technically not breaking any rules, he is just making things tough on the community who wants to use his work. I am not a mod, neither is anybody else who has commented in here, but that would just be my advice moving forward. I stand by what I said prior, the OP has not technically done anything wrong, and he is certainly not doing anything wrong with the creations of his mods (He is giving credit, and releasing, etc), but if the OP wants to be more welcomed in the community, and for more users to use his work and get more positive attention, he should do away with adfly links all together, or atleast remove them from his youtube videos.

It’s like that, my partner. That’s the way to help the community in my firm. This link to my YouTube channel has always been simple if you want to help me, go through the adfly link and if it’s not in my signature, my channel is Easy for people if they want to help me by contributing something or not is the decision of each person. and finally I continue with the work on the modifications
