Yeah I’ve lost incentive. Looks like some people are already making draft faces so I don’t feel the need to rush a project. They’re getting plenty of hype on that thread. Plus the draft is likely getting moved. So I’ll keep it close to the vest, may release down the road. Been playing other stuff lately.

Nah man it’s not on you at all. Like I said I’ve been playing other games with friends and working in the yard and such. I was pressed because there was little content out there but with your releases I don’t feel the pressure to be the only prospect faces. You’ve had huge amounts of traffic on your thread and that’s awesome.

I’m not canceling it, I’m just going back to no date. I had to upgrade some PC parts so I was down for that reason too. I’ll work on it on and off. I’ll drop it out of nowhere. I honestly did expect a reaction because the video got like no traction. This thread has been relatively quiet, no preview requests. With people requesting faces on other threads that I’ve previewed here to no comment, I don’t feel like I have to push this out.

He loss motivation and said again he don't "rush a project" so he will take more time. Don't apologize for create and being motivate. Everything is okay

I hope this isn't percieved incorrectly, though I'm sure it will be.

This happens every year with BJ's draft class. There always seems to be a bit of drama surrounding it. The only thing to be expected is, that you can expect him to carry through with the dates that he sets for himself and the then promotes. I knew the other day that BJ was setting the stage for not releasing it. If you've been here over the past 3 to 4 years, this is typical.

LET ME MAKE THIS CLEAR -- creating a quality draft class the likes of Brandon's, is extremely challenging and time consuming. I'm not a huge fan of his ratings scale, but there's no denying the attention to detail is paramount - it shows. No stone is left unturned. I know, because for years, I've been scouting NBA prospects and his player likenesses are unrivaled. He absolutely must be applauded for these efforts, and his contribution to the modding community has been substantial.

That said - this on again, off again application is a bit dizzying and immature in my estimate. Getting people excited for release, only to renege on the date that he sets for himself, in a very dismissive and flippant fashion. Now, this is not a job or any particular occupation. Also, to further contextualize, this is a quantum leap away from a big deal. There's a global pandemic, and people are dying in droves. So, in contrast, who cares!

I'd just say for future reference Brandon, just be a man of your word. The only reason people get disappointed is because you lead them to believe there will be a release, or released on a particular date. To preview this immense draft, to then only keep it to yourself ("close to your vest"), is a bit of a tease.

I'd say to anyone frustrated - learn to mod. There's a zillion tutorials and means to facilitate it. Create your own class with your own faces. Scout prospects (hundreds of sites). Hell, last year I said I'd do one but literally just purchased the game 2 weeks ago.That in conjunction with the fact that I'm much more into retro teams and players this year (who knew?).

This is obviously subjective - solely my opinion. I'm sure there will be plenty of contrasting views and kickback for this post. Brandon, I'm sorry if anything I've said here offends you. I'm just calling it as I see it but IT IS just one man's perspective.

This tread is "quiet" because people are trusting your words, and patiently wait for it. Also carefully trying not to make you feel "pressure", "been pushed", "rushed" to release it.

Some of the faces we made have backed out of this years draft (Scottie Lewis, Matthew Hurt, Wendell Moore, Keyontae Johnson) so part of it is making sure it’s a complete project. Bluejaybrandon, could you still release what you've done so far so that the fan community can benefit from your work. There's no need to do every draft face like last year. Given the quality of your faces, would 20 faces per draft not be enough, a bit like the historical drafts, just an idea. We also manage to model players well with the game editor. Thank you, you're doing a great job and I hope we'll still have a surprise.
(I also understand given the global situation the previous messages, as a fan and remaining confined at home being in a country extremely affected by the Covid 19, NBA 2k20 is a way to escape and enjoy it fully with your patches)

Damn, just leave the guy alone! If he wants to take his time, let him take his time. There are more serious and pressing issues in this World than some mods for a game. Don't get me wrong, I love these games and the NBA and the modding community but have a little patience and stop being so needy. "Patience is a virtue."

Like TG said, that’s never been my style. I release as close to a complete project as possible even if it takes longer. These aren’t just mix and match faces as prospects, each one is crafted from scratch. That takes time and the guys that make these have other priorities. Plus the references aren’t always great.

Ultimately, the class is the final product as much as people just want the faces. Each prospect plays like he should, has a player picture and a portrait, etc. Even assuming the draft is in June still, that’s a month away. Projects take patience.

Keep up the amazing work you and everyone involved has for countless years, I apologise I couldn’t contribute this year, but I look forward to seeing its release brother
