So i followed this viewtopic.php?p=2011502#p2011502 tutorial again after some years with the help of chatgpt but this time with heroic launcher and a different exe *wink wink*. I got close but still no go. The injector couldn't find the exe. If only i could find a way for the injector to look for the game's pid instead

Yes I also tried that but couldn't get it to work and I'm pretty sure I did it wrong as I'm still a Linux noob.

So I put back Thunder Shaq's d3d11.dll file into the game directory and got the game to launch using the following settings:

Wine version: wine-ge-8-26-x86_64 (default)

DXVK version: usr

However only the splash screen shows up, after that the screen goes black and I can only hear the audio. And this is where I'm currently stuck at

Need more experienced Linux minds here to look into this and/or experiment with more settings there has to be a way to make this work.

However, when I try to use the latest roster, the court and NBA players in my game disappear and are nowhere to be seen. What's the cause of this problem, and how can I fix it?

You need to reinstall the game and all the mods again. I encountered that same problem on Windows and reinstalling everything (if done correctly) should fix this issue.

I only recommended reinstalling the base game in the event you're not sure which files is original and which files are from the mod. Thunder Shaq gives his instructions and that is what everybody needs to follow.

I believe that means you need to download the "Sync.bin" file provided by Thunder Shaq and replace it where located on your computer.

I have a question also: is there a way to somehow swap teams between the roster files? I'm a big fan of creating myleagues, however i'd love to include some teams from URR v1 ML and some from URR v2 ML. What's the best approach for doing that?

Only way is to create your own version of the rosters. I edit using NBA 2ktools (linked on page 1). There isn't a way to crossover Myleagues with multiple roster files

Hi ThunderShaq, i saw that you add some accessories mods to the game and i tought that you maybe edit some of these accessories. I have problems for edit hairs and accessories because when i edit it the game doesnt detect the changes. Do you know how can i edit hair and accessories? I use blender and nba 2k export and import plugins.
For example i changed 2016 stoudemire body and i made the hair work with the body mod, but the hair its a little bit bigger than the head. For the accessory i exported the angular arm sleeve and im trying to make it shorter like kobes arm sleeve. If you can help me its would be nice. Thanks for your time.

Also i made changes to some players to make their faces and bodies more accurates. For the moment because i havent the knowledge for modding i couldnt make changes about hairs, accessories and converting faces and bodies properly because i dont know how convert the head for example from 2k21 with all his components ( eyes and mouth).

If you or more people want some of the players that i edit i could create downloads files for everybody but because im new at modding i didnt create downloads yet, only for my personal nba 2k20, i will create a new section for this.
