Hiding Teams ?

I read on somewhere deleting teams make problems in the game but could we hide some of the teams from selection screen ? There is hidden teams I know but I don't know how to do it ? For example could we hide those year specific teams and all time teams ? Because I wanted to keep 30 team only.
