Exporting Statistics from a League

Postby chuckz0r on Thu Jun 04, 2020 8:41 am

Hey everyone, thanks in advance for anyone who could point me in the right direction here.

I am part of a real-time fantasy GM league that uses 2K to run our seasons. We are interested in exporting the statistics from a League file into a database or spreadsheet. Is anyone aware of a working mod that does this, or could someone point me to the file where these are held? I understand that we'll probably have to parse through some data to get exactly what we need, but that will be a different bridge to cross.

Appreciate your help, and thanks again.

Sadly there is no mod for this.

Myleague is the only way you can keep stats. Trust me this is something I wish we could get. But no dice.

I run my league through myleague. Screen shot the box scores and we input them into an excel. Or you can just use myleague itself that keeps the stats housed within the game. But unfortunately there is no export. I want it too. Asked this question about 2 months ago. No dice.

Sadly, in 2k that is not possible. It was back in the days with NBA live.

For our online league we use google spreadsheets. We have a spreadsheet for every team which every GM has to fill out with the single game boxscores and then there are other spreadsheets that collect all the data to transform it into season and all-time stats.

As we carry out the league for years (since NBA live 2005) its apparently not sufficient to just use the ingame data, as then all-time stats and stats history for past seasons would not be possible.

Thanks for the replies. Sounds like we are all in the same boat. We stream our box scores to Twitch, then upload them to YouTube, and put them in from there. I envy the fact that you can get all 30 GM's keeping up with their stats though.

I just use windows 10 snipping tool its an easy grab if you are working through myleague. Which shows bigger box scores than say exhibition.

In our case we combine keeping your stats up to date with certain team management bonusses for the new season. If you always do your stats then you are able to give a newly signed player a teamoption. If you additionally played all your games in a given time frame, then you will get +10 Mio to your capspace. So there are some incentives to keep people focused in.
