Modders' retro seasons

Hey everybody,

First of all, thanks everyone for work and dedication you put into all those mods.
I myself try to contribute, with poor skills and I know it takes time and energy.

I'd like to know if, just like Shuajota's 2010 season (in progress), others amongst the community had already created complete (or almost complete) seasons ?

I'm sooooo ecstatic about playing again 2012-13 or 2013-14 seasons.

HELLO, the 95-96 season was AMAZING. Eagerly awaiting news on that.

Just a thought I had today.

Big opportunity for people to start working on a 99-00 or 01-02 Roster using my 00-01 one as a base.

For example to do 99-00:

Remove 2000 Draft players
Use basketball reference or NBA2K14 URB Mods to make trades and transactions in reverse.
Add a small number of players that retired or went overseas.

Once laroche23 releases his work, we will have the 95-96 roster.
Thunder Shaq is working on a 96-97 roster.

So if anyone out there has some time on there hands, a 97-98 and 98-99 roster is not completely out of the question using what we already have.

Easiest way for people to get involved for the first time is to export and import players needed from other rosters.

Agreed. Once rosters start getting released, using those assets plus adjustments will make pumping out season rosters much quicker. Just build off each other’s projects

man, how crazy would it be if we all combined our efforts and were able to play (nearly) any year of the NBA of our choosing?

I feel so nostalgic about UBR mod for NBA 2K14.
It would be dope to be able to play every season.
I would like to use this thread as an index of seasons already done, those in progress, those whiches are just projects.
People wanting to help could specify their skills, disponibilities, etc.
I think we would all win to work together.

I'm working on dornas and configs for Thunder Shaq's Retro Roster, and the default retro teams. Goal is to have at least one dorna from film on each team, and can fill in the rest with dornas from the same decade. About 40% through (will drop update Sunday). Also, working with Laroche on 95-96 dornas. Hoping to have all done by the end of the month, so I can do the other rosters as well.

I've also created batch files for each config and corresponding roster, so you can shortcut to there, and avoid copying any files to go into the mod.

Don't forget Thunder Shaq has 09-10 & 10-11 rosters as well.
