Help me please For gamedata.iff

So i accidentally overited my gamedata.iff which is removing feet circular logo and i cant even retrieve my default one, its so hard to pass ball without cursor can someone reupload it for me please? Thnx in adv.

Just delete the modded gamedata.iff file from waigua folder and it will automatically revert back to the default original gamedata.iff file.

It depends. If he used 2K17 explorer and imported over the gamedata.iff file, he will have to verify his game cache via Steam.

Otherwise, like you stated.. all he has to do it remove the gamedata file from his modded folder.

I never knew that. I've just started playing 2K again on PC this year after switching to console in 2k12. I never knew how to use 2k17 explorer and was never planning to learn how to use it. Just too lazy on my part. I'm just relying on the drag-drop method in waigua. Safer that way. Anyway, thanks for the clarification bro!

Yeah, the beauty of the waigua (modded) folder is that those who don't need to export files from 2K17 explorer, never have to use the explorer tool at all.

When 2K15 was released, gregkwaste made a 2K15 explorer tool for us to use, but we didnt have a waigua or modded folder. To import mods, we were forced to import using the explorer tool, which not only caused some issues, but limited our ability to mod the game in general.

Limnono has made so many great tools for us over the years (waigua folder, modifier tool, etc). Without him we would be a lot more limited as a modding community!
