Mods not showing in-game?

Hi all I'm a newbie round here,
I've tried to install ThudnerShaq's pack and had no luck with it showing in gaming. Hook works fine, but none of the rosters or players show. I've done quite a bit of WWE modding so am not stranger to modding games, just wondering if I have missed an important first step somewhere? As it appears to me it's as simple as drag n' drop. I'm using the latest Steam build of NBA 2K20.

When you made the Waigua or the modded folder, did you download the .dlls that come with it as well, and put them in your NBA2k20 directory? Is the problem with just this mod, or mods in general?
