Custom crowds with historic teams?

Does anyone know how to add customs crowds to historic teams. I cannot get it to work even using hook tool. The default historic crowds are very dull, so I’d like to use custom crowds to make arenas more vivid. Anyone have any luck doing this?

Did you make custom crowds ? I have made a crowd mod for the bobcats before.

I dunno exactly which crowds the historic teams use but my guess it's the defaultcrowd.iff. that's the crowd all the expansion teams use that are boring and plain. I made my own crowds for expansion teams by changing defaultcrowd.iff

The second problem I had was hook doesn't recognize expansion team slots so I use generic mod Enabler to swap the crowds depending on the team I'm using.

I had an alternative solution to custom teams back in 2K19, maybe it works for 2K20 too. If you put crowd ID 65535 with the cheat engine team table, you will get a crowd who will wear the team colors you chose for the team. They would not wear team jerseys and hats and all that, but at least their clothes had the the same color as the team.

I having custom crowd mods for other teams. I planned on using those for historic teams, but Using team ID doesn’t work. Maybe default crowds ID will work through hook.

ok I figured it out and its actually really simple. You just have to change Crowd ID in TOOL to the team ID for the current teams, so for example use "15" which is Lakers crowd.iff for any Lakers team. It makes a big difference IMO.
