Sure you can use mods online, as all these mods are only cosmetic changes. But I advise you to not use cyberfaces for online play, as there seems to be some sort of conflict which makes games desync, resulting in the game getting disconnected with a "network error". I haven't found out yet what the problem there is. Some cyberfaces work, others doesn't. If you want to use some, you have to try out each single one of them and look if it works.
