Downloading game updates stuck on 0

Hello everyone, I have no hope lol. Tried everything I can, deleted userdata, redownloaded the game, turned off windows firewall and antivirus. Nothing worked out for me.
I just want to play that 1997 ThunderShaq mod but the game wont let me. Can anybody help me

I just bought 2k21 and after installing and starting the game the downloading game updates is stuck on 0. I called 2k about it and they had me delete the 2k21 SYNC.BIN which was supposed to work but didn't. They had me re-download the game and that didn't work. The real part that sucks is that shortly after that my 2k20 and 2k19 both suddenly had the same problem within minutes of each other and any mods I downloaded and saved like ThunderShaqs 1997 mod all corrupted and don't show. All the shoes, players, settings, rosters (that I edited the ratings, tendencies, rotations, jumpshots) all corrupted almost simultaneously. 2k seemed confident that their methods would work and from Youtube comments they worked for others but not for me. Have you had any luck yet?
